Single-family house on the Barrandov Terraces

A two-family house biult in the thirties of the 20th century couldn't meet the requirements of a modern family with teenagers. Our task was to project an extension of the house which would take advantage of the house's location on the edge of the Barrandov hill with unbeatable views.
We proposed an extension of the living quarters all the way to the edge of the hill, giving thus the interior panoramic views of the Vltava river. The living quarters are extended by terraces connecting the interior with the exterior. The tarraces offer a place to relax with a unique view of the Vltava valley.
