Rebuilding of a town house has been complex because all decking has been newly made of reinforced concrete. At the same time it was essential to preserve the existing outward appearance related to the neighboring houses.
The house has been extended by a door-way facing the street and a sun room and a spacious sundeck facing the garden. The ground floor is not divided into separate rooms. The layout of all floors can be modified to suit changing needs. A new wooden-and-glass staircase creates a vertical backbone of the house.
