House with a glass-walled hall, Prague - Suchdol |
The project was a renewal of a house dating back to the turn of the 19th and 20th century, which was not under preservation of monuments. The house has been remodelled and extended many times in the course of the years with devastatign effects. We changed the layout of the house completely to create a modern open space in the main part of the house as required by the investor. The attic is then divided into separate bedrooms. A spiral staircase top-lit by glass roof serves as a communication backbone of the house. In the future, the house can connect the living space with the outside swimming pool. Studio's part:
